Two years ago I started my bookkeeping journey at Adventurepupscooperative in Boston. I was a part owner and a member of the financial team, within a year I was Head Treasurer. As a philosophy graduate and creative writer I didn’t expect to enjoy the financial aspect of running a business so much! The joy came from providing a secure foundation for our business to grow, and give back to our members and community. I saw first hand how vital the financial health of a business is in reaching those you service and provide for. I became passionate about helping others create a sustainable small business. Since then I have gained certifications that have deepened my understanding of accounting and bookkeeping and solidified my goal of working with businesses I believe in.
